Hello and welcome! I haven't had a blog in... 3 years? This should be a change! I have, however, had an online journal. Primarily I have made this blog for writing reasons. I think that's what my old blogs were about as well but I really can't remember. :) So, how about we start off with some information about me?

Place Where I Sleep: The Eternal City, MI
Job: I'm a chef/prep-cook/dishwasher at a Country Club
Highschool: Traverse City West Senior High
College (plans): NMC (Associate's) -> UofM (Bachelor's/Pre-med) -> John Hopkins University of Medicine (Master's/Doctorate)

I love medicine and plan to become a physician. But I also love drawing and writing, hence, my escape. I love books about vampires, and medical dramas. My two favorite shows are House M.D. and NCIS.

The namesake behind this blog, "Midnight Memorial" is my mother, Debra Marion Grier-Wysong, who passed away 7/20/2008. I will often sign entries with the name, Midnight Marion, as well. Marion was not only my Mother's middle name, but it was my Grandmother's name, and might have been mine as well. (And sadly, I wish it was. Marion is a lot better than Kathryn.)
